This 200 hectares estate was first established in 1989. Today it is owned and managed by winemaker Agapito Rico Martínez. Product offering and bottling includes Carchelo, Merlot, Canalizo Syrah, and Tardo. 75% of its wines are exported overseas. The wine styles from this winery is very new world, with emphasis on strength, extract built for the American palate and market. As informed by its export manager; Sergio Pereletegui whom we met in Singapore in April 2008, the winery is looking for an Asian importer.

F25042008. 14.0%. A Bordeaux blend of some 60% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Mouverdre. 2 months in French oak before release. Pepper with sweet black berries. Medium to full-bodied. Young and plummy with chewy spicy tannins and a short dry finish. Drink between 2008 to 2011. ![]()

F25042008. 14.5%. 100% Syrah. 4 months in French oak before bottling and release. Rich, ripe black plums. Full-bodied. Black cherries, berries with a jammy combust texture on the palate. Short to medium finish. Drink from 2008 to 2012. ![]()
