This is an easy growing and productive variety, with earthy and steely character, that grows in hot climates, and, when well treated is a real nice basic wine, with hints of grapefruit. Regretfully, not many Chinese wine consumers and drinkers appreciate this varietal due to its lack of sweetness and minerality as compared to Riesling and Chardonnay.
