1996年份 Château du Tertre (杜特城堡)
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux / 法國波爾多梅多克玛歌紅酒
12.5%. 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Green herbs and pepper (which may imply an early harvest). Medium-bodied, black currant with an almost flat palate. This is a pale and unenjoyable wine.

Smooth and elegant, this almost medium-bodied wine is in her prime with good notes of red fruit – berries, strawberries, leather giving the palate a velvety mouth feel with softness, integrated tannins and a short to medium finish. Enjoyable now. Drink from 2008 to 2010.

1995年份 Marqués de Murrieta Rioja Reserva Ygay Dalmau
Spain, La Rioja, La Rioja Alavesa, Rioja / 西班牙裡歐哈紅酒
Murrieta may be best known as a traditional Rioja bodega, but in recent years, their Dalmau is an International brand and blend with less time in oak, 100% new French oak and it’s richer, darker and has more of an appeal. Though I would prefer the classic charm of Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva, which ages fantastically and is a pleasure drink.
13.5%. 86% Tempranillo, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 6% Mazuelo y Graciano. Medium to full-bodied with pleasant leather, blackberry, vanilla and tobacco. Good black fruit and chocolate flavors. Soft and well integrated tannins. Good finish. Drinking very well now. Drink between 2008 and 2016.

13.5%. 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Medium-bodied with good blackberry fruit, vanilla and a pleasant short finish. Drink between 2008 and 2015.

14.0%. 100% Nebbiolo. Initially alcoholic and with a half an hour in the glass, this medium-bodied wine gives off a berry and cherry character with leather like hint. Dusty and velvety tannins with a short finish. Drink between 2008 and 2010.

1996年份 Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac / 法国 波尔多菩依乐村紅酒
13.0%. 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. An American critic highlighted the 1996 may turn out to be the finest Duhart-Milon produced since the 1982. Medium to full-bodied with intense cedar and black berry. Still unresolved with backwardness but fresh, cedary, fine integrated silky tannins, masculine and is a classy edge over its closest rival, the 1996 Château Pontet-Carnet. Good medium finish. Drink between 2008 and 2017.

14.5%. 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre. Floral with blackberry fruit. Full-bodied, this value for money wine has a solid fruit driven structure with good balance and firm tannins. Medium finish. Drink between 2010 to 2015.

2003年份 Domaine Guy Robin & Fils Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos

12.0%. 100% Chardonnay. A great value starter from Le Benaton in Singapore, this is a 5 hectares family estate located around the village of Chablis. Medium to full-bodied, with initial sweet oak induced flavors, this balanced wine has floral and honey flavors, while short of its mineral and acidity characteristics. Medium good finish. Drink soon.

13.0%. A red Bordeaux blend with predominately Shiraz. Full-bodied, with big and ripe black berries, spice and soft tannins. Not a style in my favor for its boldness. Drink between 2008 and 2014.

It’s well put together and might improve even more with additional bottle age. Shit last bottle. Drink between 2008 and 2016.
