The estate was improved and revtalised in the 1990s by Gonzague Lurton. Today he is assisted by winemaker Jerome Heranval. In our opinion, the wines of Dufort-Vivens may be better than the likes of Rauzan-Segla, du Terte, and Rauzan-Gassies at this stage, it is still trailing behind Margaux Superstars Margaux, Palmer, and nearby property, Malescot St. Exupery.
督芳维文古堡 (Chateau Durfort-Vivens) 是上世纪1992年代在贡扎克-鲁尔东 (Gonzague Lurton) 接手中复兴起来的, 带来的四款酒是其颇为自豪的酿绩. 为了酿出属于自己的风格的好酒, 他施工建设新酒窖, 酒庄终于在1995年换上新装. 目前在酒庄扶助鲁尔东是酿酒师; 杰罗姆- (Jerome Heranval).

1998 Château Durfort-Vivens (France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux). 12.5%. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Franc is classic, with a fantastic bouquet of spice, black cherry, floral, which gave me a feel of Margaux’s typicity. Medium, gentle and nicely integrated and firm tannin. Dry. As compared to 2001, 2004 and 2006, it was approaching better and quite ready for drinking.
1998 督芳维文古堡 (法国, 梅多克, 波尔多, 玛高). 12.5% 酒精度. 种类: 60% 赤霞珠, 11% 美乐, 23% 品丽珠. 这瓶红典型酒优美, 气味香甜优雅, 香料, 黑樱桃, 花香味. 能品尝到一抹的玛高口感. 入口较平衡, 柔和, 单宁和谐. 有干果的气息环绕其间尾韵干燥. 指与其它2001, 2004, 2006 相比, 1998的那款, 无论从气味, 口感来说, 应该是其中最棒的督芳维文酒. 从2008至2012. 13.5/20分. 推荐零售价: 从€55.00, S$145.00 (750ml), S$298.00 (1500ml), HK$750.00, 663.00元
2001 Château Durfort-Vivens (France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux). 12.5%. 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc is densely scented, with perfumed black berry fruit, oak toast and a touch of gravel stone. Medium and round with a light medium structure, and dry yet firm tannin. Clean finish. The 2001 has potential, which may mimic 1998’s aromatic pleasure in time to come. Best from 2008 to 2018.
2001 督芳维文古堡 (法国, 梅多克, 波尔多, 玛高). 12.5% 酒精度. 种类: 67% 赤霞珠, 24% 美乐, 9% 品丽珠. 气味芬芳. 充满黑浆果, 烤面包得橡木气味, 有些微的砾石的芳香. 酒体圆润. 结构欠佳. 酒中含有 干燥的单宁. 尾味干净. 2001年的那款, 风格比较接近前1998年. 从2008至2018. 12.5/20分. 推荐零售价: 从€20.19, S$92.00 (750ml), HK$474.00, 420.00元
2003 Château Durfort-Vivens (France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux). 13.0%. 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc. Ripe fruit, licorice, pepper and black berry. Palate was rather linear, lacks flavor and structure.

2004 Château Durfort-Vivens (France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux). 13.0%. 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc. Clear and defined with ample floral notes, freshness, a blend of red and black berry.Well put together, with oak creaminess, dry cassis fruit, and ripe tannin which lends weight its structure. Finishes medium. From 2008 to 2018.

2006 Château Durfort-Vivens (France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux). 13.0%. 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc is still a young wine, exhibiting primary vanilla and dense black fruit aroma, and perfumed. Medium-bodied, tight and yet delicately fine with firm tannin.
