Profile: Daniel considers himself as a traveler. While he is currently rooted in Singapore, he is the scribe and editor for 酒 Jiuwine.com. He writes from the perspective as a business magazine reader, while loving wines and its people, and regularly meets people in the industry. Daniel prefers wines which are food-friendly for Asian cuisine, elegant and enjoyable wines to jammy, over-extracted fruit bombs with high alcohol, and heavy handed oak. When reviewing, Daniel tasted the wine twice, alone after decanting or opening, with food (if permissible), and again after an hour in the glass - believing a few minutes review are unrealistic, and this is not how the average person should enjoy wine and rely on such reviews.
