For the rest and much copied by other writers, there’s the 100-point rating system promoted by Robert Parker, the absurdly influential American wine writer. We believe in rating wine simply, concisely and differently. We rate wines based on a star system (as seen below), which is by far acceptable while imprecise, considering no system is perfect. Well, it’s a guide.

All tasting are conducted open, fair and on first impressions and should time permit, the durability of the wine in the glass beyond the clock. We taste the wine based on our system of BEF or B - Balance and Body, E - Enjoyment and Elegance, F - Finish and Finesse. Ratings are based on how the wine appeal to the Chinese palate, how good a wine will be at his or her prime, or at the point if the wine is ready to drink.

品酒. An average to very good wine which is attractive, while displaying different degrees of flavors, character with some finish as well as no noticeable flaws. Good wines to be kept for immediate or near term consumption.
