The 2005 vintage was outstanding everywhere in France, especially the 2 Bs. Bordeaux and Burgundy.
The profile of the vintage is definitely more red fruit than black. There is a marvelous refreshing mineral feels which made these wines lively and dynamic - perhaps most predicted surpassing 1990, 1999 and 2002.
